ARRK’S 3D PRINTING & PROTOTYPING OPERATION IN FRANCE MOVES TO NEW LARGER, TAILORED PREMISES.

Product development specialist ARRK is delighted to officially unveil its new 3D Printing and Prototyping centre in France.

Situated in Alby Sur Cheran, near Annecy in the South East of France, the much larger, access-controlled facility is only a short distance away from its old site. The team, led by General Manager, Sylvestre Perrin, are already enjoying the benefits of the larger building, which has been tailored to their needs. This includes the customer meeting / show rooms, administration offices, as well as an improved factory layout which allows customer jobs to be more efficiently processed as they pass through the various departments and processes.

The new building easily accommodates all ARRK LCO’s Prototyping, Rapid Tooling and Injection Moulding operations. As well as housing all existing plant and equipment, a paint booth and quality control room have also been installed. The site also provides a much larger warehousing area to store customer tools: both vacuum cast and injection.

ARRK LCO have also been able to welcome and integrate the team and equipment from Maquette 74 into the new building. Maquette 74 are a specialist modelmaking company which ARRK acquired within the last few months.

Head of ARRK’s Prototyping operations for Europe, Craig Vickers, explains: “We’ve been working hard on finding a new site for some time, to accommodate our continued growth and ambitious plans for the future. It is testament to the dedication, energy and professionalism of staff that the move has gone so well, and that we’ve been able to maintain production schedules and our high standards of quality and customer service whilst relocating. I am grateful to everyone”.
