ARRK LCO PROTOMOULE EXPAND THEIR 3D PRINTING AND PROTOTYPING SERVICES THROUGH COMPANY ACQUISITION

Leading French 3D Printing and Prototyping specialist ARRK LCO Protomoule is delighted to announce the acquisition of modelmaking and prototyping company Maquette 74, and welcome its team of in-house modelmakers to the company.

ARRK LCO General Manager, Sylvestre Perrin, believes the acquisition not only increases the range of technologies and services they can offer customers but it also adds an extra dimensions to the company’s local skill base and modelmaking capability. Maquette 74 is situated just a short journey away from ARRK LCO’s factory, near Annecy, in the Haute Savoie region of France. Sylvestre commented: “The Maquette 74 team there have developed an excellent reputation for producing high quality show models for customers involved in the Sports and Consumer products industries. Furthermore, this purchase sees ARRK LCO securing a number of additional 3D Printing machines with Polyjet technology from Stratasys, and an extensive material range. The company’s experience in CNC machining from wood and foam is also an attractive asset”.

ARRK LCO have over 30 years experience in providing a range of 3D Printing, Prototyping and Injection moulding solutions to customers throughout France, Italy, Belgium and Switzerland across a range of industries including Automotive, Consumer Products, Medical and Industry. As well as having its own range of in-house technologies and processes, ARRK LCO is able to access other ARRK owned facilities and services globally to support their customers’ projects and programmes.

Their experience in Stereolithography, Selective Laser Sintering, Vacuum Casting, Paint & Finishing, CNC machining and Rapid Tooling coupled now with these local, niche processes and capabilities puts them in an excellent position in which to develop even stronger relationships with their customers”.

The company will look to make further announcements later this year regarding additional investments.
